Making Some Changes for the Better

THIS is how I felt this morning. 

I did not want to get up AT ALL!



So, I know I don't always make the healthiest choices. I crave salt most of the time so if a pickle isn't nearby then I am going to eat chips. I have made some changes in my daily eating habits for what I think is the better. It definitely will cut down on my calorie and sugar intake.

The switches are;
2 % to Almond Milk for my shakes
Creamer to Fat Free/Sugar Free Creamer
More oatmeal
TRYING More water.

I joined the IdealShapeup Challenge so that I could work out everyday besides just the running. It has 20 minute workouts and they email you 6 a week so you have one to do a day. They are videos and they do the workouts real time with you. I like doing workouts real time.

I skipped Sunday night because we went to a cookout and I was back late, but the workouts are for 6 days so Sunday can be my rest day!

I so want to try this shake. 

It looks good as heck.. << I've been watching Napoleon Dynamite again.

So running today and I'm going to try to keep up with my (22 year old) brother who always outruns me. The reason it's almost time for this to happen...

Looking at the graphic gives me hives. Wish me luck on my run and with my workout. I also added this fun little 5 minute push to the end of my IdealShape workout yesterday. It's hard man, try it.


     

       




So on to the writing part. I have taken on some more ghostwriting jobs and this is good for me to stretch my creative muscle. I do have to finish my chapter for Friday for Ice Shift this week and a short horror piece for my blog on top of that and working and working out! It will be okay though because I just have to do it.

Ink and Sweat Born From Procrastination

BELOW THIS NEW POST YOU WILL SEE THE FIRST POST I POSTED ABOUT BODY BY VI BECAUSE I AM STILL USING IT AND STILL LIKE IT. IT WAS NOVEMBER ''14 when I STARTED and here is what I look like right now for comparison.


Now to me and probably you this doesn't look like much of a change, but these are my stats. Can I call them stats? In the below picture with the PJs this was the case.

172 pounds and 37 ' waist


In the lovely picture above I (currently) weigh 164.5 pounds and have a 35 ' waist so you can see Body by Vi has helped with my weight even though it isn't quite obvious in the picture.

THE OLD POST

Let's get it right out of the way. Here's my before picture. I know it's glamorous the pajama pants, the cut off head. I'm not where I want to be.

Now I'm no slouch. I work out in the mornings Monday - Friday. Usually I do cardio and weights alternating leg, abs, arms etc. I also run about two miles every Monday and Wednesday afternoon. I don't eat that horribly, but I could always do better.

I am starting Vi because I don't lose weight the way I used to. I'm 31. Hang on I'll get you a picture of my top half. :)


There I am! Okay so it's been a week (I realize at the beginning of this post I said 3 days, but I slacked off on finishing it until now) and I am learning what I like and what I don't I haven't lost any weight as of yet, so I will keep you posted. The next post I will tell you about my struggle with being hungry, the pudding incident, and overall experience. This was just to introduce you to me and VI!

Here is what I did today.
I only did one round of the first workout because I did the Kettlebell workout first.

I did 50 squats because I felt guilty



I also couldn't do the windmill correctly so I have to do a bit of research on that one.


I have several things going on in the writing department. I knocked out ten thousand words in two days which was a huge record for me. I felt like I was whoring my words because I am writing them for someone else and won't use them myself at all. I need the money so cranking out that much was worth it. It would have been worth it had it been accepted, but my story was too dark (that's the normal thought) and the guy is an ass.

SO it wasn't accepted and I don't know if I have it in me to write another 10 k in two days.

Next I started a series for this site, this is a place people pay to read series.
